Beginning May 15, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has given the go-ahead for a phased reopening of certain regions of New York State. The wineries located along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail are in Phase 3 of this reopening. If certain conditions are met in the two phases prior, the soonest our wineries may reopen for tastings is June 12. We have our eye on June 12, but that could change.
When we are able to reopen tasting rooms, there will be social distancing and other health and safety-related protocols in place. We’ll share more of those details as the reopening date draws near and we know the mandates in place. To learn more about how the tasting room closure has impacted our events, please visit our Trail Calendar page.
Our wineries prioritize employee and customer safety. While things will look different, we assure you that the heart and soul of what makes Seneca Lake hasn’t changed. The friendly folks you’ve come to know and love in our tasting rooms, may be partially hidden by masks, but their spirit will continue to shine. You’ll feel it, just like you always have. That Seneca Lake spirit, just like our wine, is unique. It’s Grown Here. Made Here. And only here.
