About Us

Located off the beaten path, but just a short drive off the “main” road, Castel Grisch has a one of a kind panoramic view of Seneca Lake. Established in 1983, Castel Grisch Winery sits on a 200-acre piece of land with 30 acres under vine. Since our founding, we’ve striven to produce the most consistent and best quality wine, vintage to vintage. We grow 14 different grape varieties and utilize our own grapes in most of our wines we produce.

Beyond providing a beautiful backdrop for enjoying our handcrafted, small production wines, we are also a premier wedding and special event venue. Our on-site staff ensures your wishes are fulfilled, right down to the last detail.

Our Wines

Our diverse wine list features white wines such as fine viniferas including Riesling (in several styles), Gewurztraminer, Syrah, and Chardonnay, alongside Cornell hybrids including Cayuga White and Traminette, and even some light, fruit-forward native varieties including a Niagara blend. No special occasion is complete without a little bubbly and we have both a red and a white sparkling wine.

Tasting Information

Tastings are offered as staff guided if you prefer more interaction or flight-style if you prefer.

Now Accommodating Larger Groups

By reservation only, we are now accommodating large groups of 16-40 people. $10 per person includes a one hour tasting in a designated tasting room indoors. Includes crackers, cheese, and chocolate with your tasting. Please email castel.grisch@gmail.com for additional information.
