Plan Your Wine Tour Itinerary

Seneca Lake Wine Trail wineries are a safe place to visit, despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We are dedicated to upholding high levels of cleanliness and best practices to help protect our staff, our local communities, and our visitors. We are happy to provide the following tips to help you plan your visit to Seneca Lake. If you have specific questions that aren’t addressed here, feel free to give the Wine Trail Office a call: 607-535-8080.

  • Masks: Please bring a mask with you and be prepared to wear it. Wineries follow whatever guidelines are in place at the state and/or county level. Sometimes that changes with little warning and even by county line (because currently, rules are generated by New York State based on what the transmissibility of COVID-19 is by county), so please bear with us. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
  • Reservations vs Walk-Ins: Some wineries do require reservations. Others recommend or suggest reservations, and we strongly encourage you to do that. Many accept walk-in visitors. Please review individual winery policies (listed below).
  • Buses/Limos/Groups: Always confirm winery policies before booking transportation. Groups are not permitted to split up unless explicitly stated by the winery. Groups and transportation companies who do not follow winery policies run the risk of being turned away and that isn’t fun for anyone.
  • Check the weather. Outdoor spaces are safest, but weather is changeable, especially in the fall. Dress in layers, bring a jacket or sweater, and you’ll find it easy to adjust as the day goes on.
  • Have fun and be kind: Please be kind to winery staffers. Weekends in particular, are very busy. If you don’t have time or aren’t willing to wait for tasting space on a walk-in basis, please plan to visit wineries who accept appointments OR visit during the week when it’s less busy.

Current Winery Offerings

These are the latest guidelines for wineries on Seneca Lake. Click the gray button below to download a handy spreadsheet or scroll through the alphabetized list below that to review each winery’s individual policies. We make every effort to keep this information as accurate and up to date as possible. When in doubt, please inquire with the winery directly. We look forward to welcoming you!
