GENERAL INFORMATION – Know before you go
We are safe, compliant, and open for business. Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated! We are happy to share the following tips to help you plan your visit and know what to expect:
- Space is limited. Our wineries have to follow strict capacity restrictions. You may need to wait for tasting space to become available, especially on Saturdays (the most popular day to visit). Make reservations where requested and certainly where required.
- Masks and social distance required. All patrons must wear masks any time they’re not seated. Please maintain at least 6 feet from others not in your party.
- Small groups only. Wineries must maintain capacity restrictions and most are limiting groups to 4 or 6 people. Now is not the time for large group visits.
- Have a seat and a snack. Wine tastings can only take place while seated and require the purchase of food. These are not options, they are orders from our Governor. To meet this requirement, wineries are offering a small snack for a nominal fee ($2-$5). The average tasting fee is between $7 and $12 per flight. This price reflects the additional costs and staffing required in this new model of doing business.
- Please respect restrictions on travel where applicable. Please visit Governor Cuomo’s COVID-19 resource page for the most up-to-date information.
