Idol Ridge Winery is located on the East side of Seneca Lake just 20 minutes north of Watkins Glen. Perfectly placed up on the ridge, our lodge-style tasting room and outdoor patio allows for a beautiful, picturesque view of Seneca Lake. We offer an array of wines such as our Sparkling Saperavi and Semi-Dry Riesling as well as fruit & honey wines from our Fossenvue brand. In addition to wines, we also craft premium distilled spirits through Alder Creek Distillery. Our signature spirits include a Smoked Bourbon Whiskey and Best of Class Nashi Pear Brandy.
Enjoy a traditional tasting of both our wines and spirits or sip on a wine, cocktail, or mimosa flight. Our tasting room also offers homemade fudge, local bites, and gifts. We are pet-friendly and accept large groups. Private Airbnb cabins are also available for overnight guests.

Standard wine tasting: $10 includes six (1oz) wine samples – or – $12 includes six (1 oz) samples, a souvenir wine glass
Tasting Flights: $15 includes four (2oz) wine samples (or three – 2oz cocktails), a sample of fudge, Cheeky Monkey dipping oil & crackers. Tasting flights can be taken to our indoor/outdoor seating areas.

Standard spirit tastings: $8 includes three (1/4 oz*) samples -or- $12 includes three (1/4 oz*) samples, a souvenir brandy snifter,. Add a spirit to a wine tasting for $2 each (up to 3 samples*)
*Please Note: Due to the high percentage of alcohol in spirits, New York State Law limits the amount of spirit tasting to three 1/4 oz samples per person, per day. |
