Welcome to Atwater Vineyards!

Atwater Vineyards is a family-owned winery located on eighty scenic acres on the eastern side of Seneca Lake.

Our unique site boasts a microclimate ideal for grape production, and we are intimately connected to every vine we grow. This hands-on knowledge allows us to lovingly cultivate the grapes in our vineyards with precision, balance, and high quality control.

As a result, the winemaking team can create thoughtful wines in a variety of styles with the use of neutral barrels, skin and stem inclusion, and sparkling offerings.

About Us

One of the most spectacular, panoramic views overlooking Seneca Lake. Our 80-acre farm-winery boasts an enviable location seven miles north of Watkins Glen.

Our seated tastings are available for up to 6 people. Whether you are a casual wine enthusiast or a seasoned expert, are both fun and enlightening. You will be guided by a dedicated and knowledgeable staff member who describes our winery, our wine and winemaking practices, and what makes our area ideal for wine while receiving your selection of five wines along with a small cracker and cheese sampling.

Winemaker George Nosis has a wealth of experience and a distinctive style. He is committed to creating wines that are consistently clean, well-defined and expressive of our vineyard site.

Dynamic Rieslings, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah are part of our portfolio, along with artful blends, sparkling wines, and sweet selections.

Tasting Information

Reservations are recommended and may be made online. When making your reservation you have the option of ordering cheese or charcuterie plates. The group size maximum is 4 people.
All members of your party must be included in your reservation except children in strollers or infant carriers. To inquire about parties of 6 to 8 people, please contact our tasting room at 607-546-8463.
Our curated wine tastings last approximately forty-five minutes to one hour depending on your group size.
Dogs are not permitted inside but are welcome on a leash in our outdoor seating areas.
