Choose Your Experience
Grown Here. Made Here.
Our wines are Grown Here. Made Here. and diversity is our greatest strength. You do not have to travel to far-away places to enjoy world-class dry white and red wines such as Riesling, Gruner Veltliner, and Cabernet Franc. They are right here in the heart of the Finger Lakes, on Seneca Lake. You can also enjoy the wines your grandparents loved when you visit and taste wines made from heritage grape varieties such as Catawba and Concord. You can also get to know delicious wines made from regional grapes such as Traminette, which are found exclusively in cooler climates of the northeast. You’ll find these and many more, award-winning, premium wines from exceptional grapes, grown in the favorable conditions surrounding Seneca Lake.
Quality and Craftsmanship
Our wineries are dedicated to increasing quality, while committing to serve as exceptional stewards of the land and the lake. Today’s wines from Seneca Lake Wine Trail wineries receive accolades from around the country and the world. But wine isn’t just what we do, it’s who we are. When you come here to taste wine, you are connecting to a long tradition of agriculture and artisanal craftsmanship.
Our wineries are open year-round and it is easy and affordable to visit. Generally speaking, if you are visiting with your spouse, significant other, a few friends or family, you don’t need to make appointments. Simply choose the wineries you’d like to visit and go on your way. You’ll pay nominal tasting fees (sometimes refunded with a purchase of wine) and you can taste at your leisure. If you’re planning to visit with a group of 8 or more, you will need to make reservations. Please visit our Group Policy Page for additional important details.
