Farm Sanctuary’s 275 acres of rolling green pastures are home to more than 700 rescued cows, pigs, turkeys, and other farm animals. Each of these inspiring individuals has a story––from heartwarming tales to stories of struggle and survival, against all odds. In meeting them, you’ll gain insight into the realities that farm animals face in the modern food system.
Plan your visit
Farm Sanctuary is open May through October 31st. During your visit, you can take an hour-long tour of the shelter with one of our guides, basking in the beauty of Sanctuary and meeting our rescued residents along the way! (Advance registration is required.) Afterward, stop by our Sanctuary Shop for vegan snacks, cookbooks, apparel, educational literature, souvenirs, and more.
