ℍ?????? ?????? ??? ??????? is wine tasting meets cookie exchange meets holiday house tour (in this case, the house is our tasting rooms)… and we think you’re going to love it! Each winery will share holiday-themed cookies (and the delicious recipes) with event goers, while decking out their tasting rooms in holiday décor… and of course, great wine, too!
About the Event
- Tickets are $60 per person, plus taxes and fees. Your ticket gains you entry to the event for all 3 days, a ceramic cookie plate as a memory of your visit, a cookie and wine sample, plus 3 additional wine samples at each participating winery, and a packaged cookie to add to your plate to take home.
- As with all wine trail events, you must begin at your chosen starting winery. Tickets are not mailed, you will pick them up at your starting winery, along with your event gift.
- The event takes place during each winery’s regular winery hours of operation. This means hours may vary from winery to winery and even day to day. Please check hours before visiting.
- There is a strict group maximum of 6 people or less. No larger groups may attend and there is absolutely no splitting of groups. Violation of this rule will result in your party being turned away and a revocation of your event tickets without a refund.
- Most wineries are accepting ticketholders on a first come, first served basis during the event. There is 1 winery who requires reservations (Three Brothers) and 2 that recommend reservations (Leidenfrost and Fulkerson). Those 3 wineries will not have starting tickets, but are still part of the event. Be sure to make reservations with them after you purchase your tickets.
- We will follow required COVID-19 protocols as they exist at the time of the event. Please maintain social distance, follow COVID-related protocols, wash your hands frequently, and of course, stay home if you are not feeling well.
Participating Wineries, Reservations Requirements & Event Hours
There are 13 participating wineries. Where reservations are not required, event goers will be welcomed on a first come, first served basis. You may have to wait for tasting space to become available. Please dress accordingly (in case you have to wait outside) and be patient. Our wineries are eager to welcome you but want to do so in a safe, responsible manner that is mindful of their staff and tasting room capacity.
This list begins in the upper northwest (top left) corner of Seneca Lake and continues south around the bottom of the lake and ends in the northeast (top right) corner.
- White Springs Farm Winery: No reservation required. Event hours: Friday and Saturday: 10am-4:45pm, Sunday: 11am-4:45pm.
- Fox Run Vineyards: No reservations required. Event hours: Friday and Saturday: 10am-6pm, Sunday: 11am-6pm. Last tastings at 5:30pm.
- Seneca Shore Wine Cellars: No reservations required. Event hours: Friday and Saturday: 10am-4:45pm, Sunday: 11am-4:45pm.
- Fruit Yard Winery: No reservations required. Event hours: Friday and Saturday: 10am-4:45pm, Sunday: 11am-4:45pm.
- Glenora Wine Cellars: No reservations required. Event hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 10am-5pm.
- Fulkerson Winery: Reservations are not required, but strongly recommended. Reservations can be made by calling 607-243-7883 and mention the Seneca Lake Wine Trail’s Holiday Lights & Flights event. Please make reservations well in advance. Event hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 10am-5pm, Last tasting at 4:30pm.
- Lakewood Vineyards: No reservations required. Event hours: Friday and Saturday: 10am-5pm, Sunday: 12pm-5pm. Last tasting at 4:45pm each day.
- Castel Grisch Winery: No reservations required. Event hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 11am-5pm, Last tasting 4:45 pm each day.
- J.R. Dill Winery: No reservations required. Event hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 11am-5pm.
- Leidenfrost Vineyards: Reservations strongly recommended. For groups of 1-4 people, please make reservations online: www.leidenfrostwine.com/visit, and apply the promotional code LIGHTS&FLIGHTS at checkout.
