Burning of the Canes at Fox Run Vineyards

Join us in celebrating the hard work & countless hours our vineyard team puts into pruning throughout the winter! Instead of disposing of our discarded canes through mulching, we embrace the ancient winemaking tradition of the “Burning of the Canes,” using them to build a bonfire right in our back lawn.

Join us for bonfires, delicious food & wine, and live music by the talented Blue Eyed Soul to celebrate the start of a new vintage! Admission is free.

Food Menu:

• House-made Riesling Sausage skewer with maple syrup OR Carnitas tacos (2) with onions, cilantro, and salsa roja
  *both include a side of griddle fried potatoes & onions as well as Cabernet Franc apple sauce
• Potato Chowder
• Soft pretzels (2) with Chardonnay fondue
• House-made jumbo molasses cookies
• Hot Cocoa with house-made whipped cream and a torched marshmallow

We encourage you to bring chairs and blankets, no outside food or beverages.

Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.
