With the help of @laurabellescupcakery, we have four made-from-scratch desserts paired with Wagner wines for this year’s Sweetheart Weekend Wine & Dessert Pairings.

Tastings will take place every hour from 11-5 on Feb. 11 and 12 in our cozy and secluded Octagon Cellar Barrel Tasting Room.

Wine Educator John Pulos will talk you through the history and winemaking process for four wines, each paired with a delectable dessert.

Said delectable desserts are:

• Strawberry shortcake scone (paired with Sparkling Riesling)
• Shortbread cookie (paired with Reserve Chardonnay)
• Vanilla cupcake with raspberry buttercream (paired with Dry Rosé of Cabernet Franc)
• Double chocolate brownie cookie (paired with our Meritage blend)
