Finger Lakes Rail Experience

Departing from Canandaigua, Geneva, and Seneca Falls, these vintage train excursions will offer a one-of-a-kind way to explore the Finger Lakes region in style this summer.

The Seneca Lake Wine Trail has partnered with the Finger Lakes Rail Experience to offer wine tastings during the Mimosa Express, Wine Train, and Sunset Club rides.

• On the Mimosa Express ride, guests enjoy a tasting of 4 wines plus a complimentary mimosa, along with a nosh box of local cheese, dried fruits, and mini pastries.
• On the Sunset Club, guests enjoy a tasting of 5 wines plus a complimentary pour of wine (or local beer/cider), plus a nosh box of local cheese, charcuterie, crackers, and dried fruits.
• On the Wine Train, guests enjoy a tasting of 5 wines, plus a nosh box of local cheese, charcuterie, crackers, and dried fruits.

Complete with restored 1940s-era passenger cars from the Golden Era of railroading, these trains will offer memorable views and unforgettable experiences for passengers of all ages, and include restrooms, air conditioning, and all modern amenities. Trains operate Friday through Sunday, all of July and August 2025.
