Our dive into sustainable vineyard management continues Friday, June 5, as John and Ian Wagner discuss a crucial component of enriching soil: implementing and maintaining a cover crop.
They will discuss the benefits of certain cover crops and show how and why cover crops differ between our vinifera and native/hybrid varietals. Then, we’ll show how we crimp the rye cover crops in our hybrid row middles.
We’ll also answer any questions you might have regarding vineyard practices or our ramp-up to re-opening.
