Indian & Riesling Dinner at Fox Run Vineyards

We invite you to explore the complex flavors of Indian cuisine and Finger Lakes Riesling. It’s no secret how well Rieslings’ delicate flavors illuminate the rich Indian spices we all love. Learn, sip, and enjoy five courses paired with different Rieslings, including selections from our extensive library of older vintages. Our chef and winemaking team will walk you through each course with a unique combination of cultural intrigue, tasting references and a little bit of food & wine science. This dinner will be held on April 25th at 6:30pm in our historic barrel room!

Curried Roots & Chicken, Beet Broth

Course 2:
Black Garlic & Blue Potato Samosas, Masoor Dal
Crispy onions & garlic, black garlic, blue potatoes, green peas, garam masala,
apricot plum sauce, red lentils, onions, tumeric, green chilis, ginger, coriander
Paired with 2024 Semi-Dry Riesling
Course 3:
Spinach & Mango Chickpea Chaat
Spinach, mango, chickpeas, tomato salad, pickle masala cucumbers, ver jus pickled red onions, candied ginger dressing
Paired with 2014 & 2024 Dry Riesling
Course 4:
Jasmine Lamb Chop & Spiced Shrimp, Biryani Rice
Jasmine tea lamb rib chop, chili & coriander shrimp, biryani rice, red wine sauce, lemon
Paired with 2024 Silvan Riesling + 2023 Reserve Riesling
Course 5:
Ice Cream & Sweets
Cauliflower & cardamom ice cream, marzipan stuffed dates, jalebi, anjeer halwa, cashew burfi
