$70
Wine and Chocolate Header

Update – 1/25/23:

This event is officially sold out.

If you are looking for tickets OR if you have tickets but cannot attend the event and need to sell your tickets, please follow these instructions:

If you have tickets to sell, post in the Facebook event discussion (click here to access it) with the # of tickets you have to sell. When you find someone to sell your tickets to, you will have to call the Wine Trail Office to change the name on the order. Please follow the steps below to sell your tickets and transfer the order to the new ticketholder.

If you are looking for tickets, go to the Facebook event discussion (click here to access it). Post the # of tickets you are looking for and also scroll through the event discussion and comment on posts made by individuals looking to sell their tickets. There are scammers and fake accounts out there, and even though we try to catch them, sometimes they slip through the cracks, so please follow the steps below to confirm a person’s identity and ticket status before exchanging money!

  1. If you are looking for tickets and find someone who will sell you theirs, contact the Trail Office (info@senecalakewine.com) and provide us with the name on the original order, so that we can confirm whether or not the person has tickets to sell.
  2. Once the Trail Office has confirmed the status of the ticketholder, you can complete the exchange of funds.
  3. Then, the original ticketholder will need to contact our office, providing the name and email address for the person to whom we are transferring the tickets, so that we can change the name on the order and send an email confirming the change to the new ticketholder.

A few things to note:

  • We cannot split orders. For example, if you have 4 tickets, we cannot sell 2 tickets from that order to one person and 2 tickets from that order to another person.
  • Tickets may only be sold at face value.
  • Starting wineries cannot be changed.
  • The group size maximum for this event is 6 people and that maximum will be strictly enforced. Please do not travel in groups larger than 6!

—————————————————–

Chocolate & Wine is coming back February 3-5, 2023!  Enjoy a self-guided tour around the beautiful Seneca Lake Wine Trail while exploring delicious pairings of local wines with foods featuring chocolate as a key ingredient. Since this is a chocolate-themed event, you can expect to sample a lot of desserts and sweeter style foods, but there are usually at least a couple of savory foods along the way, too! Often our events sell out well in advance, so get your tickets early to avoid disappointment!

You can preview the event recipes here. We encourage you to review the recipes before purchasing tickets, so you know what to expect, especially if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions. We’re sorry for any disappointment, but wineries cannot accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions during Wine Trail event weekends.

Choosing a Starting Winery & Getting Your Tickets

When you purchase tickets, you will do so by selecting a starting winery. You must begin at your starting winery because that is where you’ll pick up your event tickets. Once your tickets are purchased, your starting winery cannot be change. The person whose name is on the order must be present to pick up tickets and will show a government-issued photo ID to claim their tickets.

Group Size Maximum

The group size maximum for our Wine Trail events is 6 people. Please do not travel in groups of more than 6 people. If you disregard this guideline, you can be turned away from participating wineries and have your event tickets revoked. Please help us make this experience as enjoyable for all by respecting the event guidelines and winery staff.

Ticket Pricing & Details

Wine Tasting Tickets – $70 per person (includes taxes and fees)

Each wine tasting ticket holder will receive a wine glass and souvenir wine glass charm at their starting winery.  From there, at each participating winery, wine tasting ticketholders enjoy a sample of food (featuring a chocolate-inspired recipe) along with a wine to complement the dish, plus an additional three samples of wine. If you do the math, that’s only about $5 per winery visit!

Designated Driver Tickets – $25 per person  (includes taxes and fees)

We love our designated drivers! Instead of the wine glass and souvenir charm, DDs receive a souvenir insulated travel mug, plus the food samples and a non-alcoholic beverage at each participating winery along the way.

Special Offer from Main Street Drivers

Main Street Drivers is offering a special deal throughout the Wine & Chocolate Event (Feb 3-5, 2023) when you book a six (6) hour wine tour for the price of five (5)! Use code WNCMSD when making your reservation. If booking more than 6 hours, a 20% discount applies. CLICK HERE TO BOOK.
