DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating the first wine of the 2019 harvest!  Enjoy a glass of our Nouveau wine and hearty seasonal hors d’oeuvres from Veraisons\, outdoors among the fall foliage.  We’ll have live music throughout the afternoon as well. \nOur annual Nouveau celebration began in 1977\, the year we were established\, as a way of celebrating our first harvest and we’ve continued the tradition every year since over our 40+ year history. \nEach year\, our Nouveau wine undergoes a quick primary fermentation before being racked and put in a wooden cask. The resulting wine is intensely fresh and fruity. We invite you to join us for a taste of our 2019 Nouveau wine straight from the cask!

This years nouveau is made with estate grown Zweigelt grapes. \nWhat: Each ticket includes: \n\n1 Glass of Wine\nAppetizers (see menu below)\nMingle with our winemakers Kim Marconi and Paige Vinson\nWatch local artist Corrine Fallone doing a live painting\nInteractive Photo Wall\nMeet this year’s label artist Michael Jasik\n\nWhen: Thursday November 21st from 5pm-7pm. Swing in on your way home from work for a glass of nouveau and tasty apps with us (must pre-purchase ticket). \nWhere: Stony Lonesome Tasting Room @ Three Brothers Wineries – 623 Lerch Rd. Geneva \nWhy: Since 1951\, on the third Thursday of  November the Beaujolais region in France releases a light bodied red wine made from the grapes of the just completed harvest. Beaujolais Nouveau is both a celebration and a taste of the new vintage before more time intensive wines are released. \nUnlike other wines\, Nouveau is initially fermented with a technique called carbonic maceration. This means the whole grapes are held under a blanket of CO2 for about two weeks before pressing.
