SUMMARY:Guided Pollinator Birding Hike with Fox Run Vineyards & Montezuma Audubon Center
DESCRIPTION:Join Montezuma Audubon Center staff & Fox Run Vineyards to welcome back our pollinator friends this summer! An Audubon educator and Fox Run Vineyards staff will lead a guided 1-mile leisure birding hike through Fox Run’s vineyards and on-site pollinator garden. We will see what songbirds have made their way back north for the summer as well as learn about Fox Run’s environmentally conscious actions to support the local birds and pollinators thrive in our wine region. \nAfter the guided hike\, participants will gather around for a wine flight and food pairing followed by a tour of Fox Run’s wine cellar and production facility\, a behind-the-scenes look! \nThe food pairing will include the following\, each paired with a Fox Run Wine: \nSavory cream puff with smoke steelhead trout & Morning Glory cheese\nSunset View Creamery garlic rosemary cheese curds\nSlice of Fox Run’s Italian hoagie\nMarinated roaster vegetable skewer\nFox Run Shortbread cookies \nStick around for even more fun with a live bird of prey presentation by Daena Ford of Braddock Bay Raptor Research. This event is 21+ and winery staff may ask for identification. DESCRIPTION:Select Fridays\, June through October\, starting at 11:30 AM.\n2024 Dates: June 28; July 5\, 12\, 19\, 26; August 16\, 23\, 30; September 6\, 13\, 20; October 4\, 11\, 18 \nEnjoy a unique\, personalized tour with a lunch focused on food and wine pairings. You’ll begin by sipping our welcome wine on an in-depth walking tour (uphill) of the vineyards and winemaking facility\, overlooking Seneca Lake. Taking a brief moment to talk to our winemakers and get an exclusive sip of a tank or barrel sample. Following the tour\, join the owners and chef Brud Holland for a plate of seven delicious bites alongside a flight of seven incredible wines\, including a dessert wine. This light lunch will be served in our historic barrel room – a dairy barn dating back to the 1800’s. See what others are saying about this event! \nPlease come prepared in case of inclement weather as part of this tour is outdoors (umbrellas\, rain jacket\, etc.). *Due to the nature of the menu\, we are not able to accommodate any menu substitutions or dietary restrictions for this event. \nTickets are $60 per person + tax + gratuity. *Wine Club Members*- In order to receive 10% off your event ticket in Tock\, you must log in with the same email address as the one that is associated with your wine club account at Fox Run.

Our assistant winemaker\, Angelica Lawler\, has made a new addition to our sparkling portfolio to celebrate her French bulldog Gus. We will be featuring a curated flight where you can try all three of our extremely diverse sparkling options. There will be live music by Leecy & Greg from 1-4PM and Cousins Maine Lobster food truck on site from 12-5PM. \nWe will also be taking donations for the Animal Cancer Foundation! \nAn opportunity to support a good cause and try our new release alongside some delicious food and great music.
