SUMMARY:Burning of the Canes at Fox Run Vineyards
DESCRIPTION:Each winter our vineyard workers spend countless hours in the cold pruning the vines for the upcoming season. Instead of mulching the cast off canes\, we partake in the ancient winemaking tradition of burning the canes in bonfires! Come celebrate the start of a new vintage with us with food\, wine\, and live music by Blue Eyed Soul. \nSaturday\, March 14\, 2020 from 12-4 PM \nFREE admission! Wine available by the glass/bottle. Feel free to bring chairs and blankets\, no outside food and beverage please. Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome. \nChef Brud Holland will brave the cold and fire up the griddle for this event. On the menu: \n\n3 Meatballs on a skewer with tomato gravy\nPan fried potatoes and onions\nCabernet Franc homemade applesauce\nPotato and Leek Chowder\nPretzels with cheese fondue\n\n
