DESCRIPTION:Join us on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail for Chocolate & Wine: February 2-4\, 2024!  Enjoy a self-guided tour around the beautiful Seneca Lake Wine Trail while exploring delicious pairings of local wines with foods featuring chocolate as a key ingredient. Since this is a chocolate-themed event\, you can expect to sample a lot of desserts and sweeter style foods\, but there are usually at least a couple of savory foods along the way\, too! Often our events sell out well in advance\, so get your tickets early to avoid disappointment! \nPreview the Event Recipes\n2024 Chocolate and Wine Recipe Book \nWe strongly encourage you to preview the recipes in advance\, so you know what to expect\, especially if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions. Due to the volume of food prepared\, wineries cannot accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions during Wine Trail event weekends. \nTickets\nAdvance ticket sales have ended. Please do not travel in groups of more than 6 people. If you disregard this guideline\, you can be turned away from participating wineries and have your event tickets revoked. Please help us make this experience as enjoyable for all by respecting the event guidelines and winery staff. \nTicket Pricing & Details\nWine Tasting Tickets – $80 per person (includes taxes and fees) \nEach wine tasting ticket holder will receive a wine glass and souvenir wine glass charm at their starting winery.  From there\, at each participating winery\, wine tasting ticketholders enjoy a sample of food (featuring a chocolate-inspired recipe) along with a wine to complement the dish\, plus an additional three samples of wine. If you do the math\, that’s only about $5 per winery visit! \nDesignated Driver Tickets – $25 per person  (includes taxes and fees) \nWe love our designated drivers! Instead of the wine glass and souvenir charm\, DDs receive a souvenir insulated travel mug\, plus the food samples and a non-alcoholic beverage at each participating winery along the way. \nRefunds & Cancelation \nSeneca Lake Wine Trail event tickets are non-refundable. Our events are not canceled due to weather\, unless the state closes roads around the Wine Trail. We do offer ticket insurance through a third party\, which you can purchase at check-out. If you cannot attend due to weather in your area or ours\, you can sell your tickets at face value via the event discussion tab on our Facebook page. Please see instructions pinned to the top of that discussion for more information. \nEvent Dates & Hours\nFriday\, February 2\, 2024 – 12pm-5pm\nSaturday\, February 3\, 2024 – 10am-5pm\nSunday\, February 4\, 2022 – 10am-5pm \nWineries will only serve event attendees during the event hours. \n17  Participating Wineries\nThis list is assembled beginning at the northwest corner of the wine trail and proceeding south along the west side of the lake\, around the south end\, and then up the east side to the northeast corner.
