Effective 1/13/18 at 8:37am EST: Despite the gnarly weather late last night and this morning, this weekend’s Halftime & Wine Weekend will still be taking place! Please review this brief letter (2018_Halftime_Wine_Weather_Concerns) for more details. Most towns report receiving approximately 8-12 inches of snow, and brisk winds have resulted in deeper drifting in places. While we have received no reports of road closures, some county sheriffs have reportedly issued “no unnecessary travel” orders to residents. Leidenfrost Vineyards, Atwater Vineyards and Castel Grisch Winery will be closed today, but should all be open Sunday. 3 Brothers, White Springs, Seneca Shore, Fruit Yard, and Bagley’s are delaying opening this morning, but should be open by noon. If you have any questions, please call the Seneca Lake Wine Trail office today before noon at 607-535-8080.
Founded in 1986, the Seneca Lake Wine Trail is a nonprofit organization dedicated to its member wineries. The wineries of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail are real, local, industrious, and determined businesses that help sustain a beautiful and prosperous region.

Winery Holiday Hours
Many of our wineries are open 362 days out of the year, though some are closed seasonally, and for certain holidays. You can see more detailed information on our FAQ page, where we have a section dedicated to this question here: https://senecalakewine.com/faq/ We always recommend you directly contact any winery you’re especially interested in visiting on a given holiday to make sure they will be open, as sometimes they change their schedule and don’t necessarily inform us.

Unfortunately we do not yet have a mobile app that is compliant with the Android operating system. 2018 Spring Wine & Cheese Weekend Package
Some fans may recall that several years ago the Trail routinely built, and almost always sold out, packages built around our popular events. While the one-stop shopping element was appealing to many, probably the most beloved attribute was that it enabled a couple to affordably enjoy Saturday of a given event, being driven around to the wineries in a nice vehicle with other folks that had purchased the package. Our friends at Sip Back & Relax Tours have developed a very similar package for this year’s Spring Wine & Cheese Weekend. To see more details about this package, scroll to the bottom of the event page here.
GROWN HERE. MADE HERE.
Surrounding the sapphire waters of Seneca Lake, our 35 member wineries invite you to experience a destination rich in history, beauty, and the production of world-class wines. Located in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes Region, our climate supports not only the growth of hardy native grapes and premium hybrids, but also more delicate varieties such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. Along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail you will truly find a wine to suit every taste.
“Grown Here. Made Here” is more than just a slogan, it’s an accurate portrayal of our Seneca Lake wines. Each of our member wineries have their own vineyards and proudly cultivate those vineyards and make those grapes into the wines we love.
Winery Events Many of our member wineries host an incredible variety of events from yoga in the vines, live music, local food trucks, performance art, barrel tastings, festivals, and much, much more.
