Thank you for visiting our ticket store. Throughout the year, our member wineries come together to bring you special events, enabling you to visit participating wineries, sampling their wine paired with food samplings, at your own pace. These events require tickets that can be pre-purchased here. If you do not see an event listed, tickets for that event are currently not on sale.
Seneca Lake Wine Trail event tickets are non-refundable. Tickets do not include lodging or transportation. During most of our events, each attendee will enjoy a complimentary sample of the dish served by the winery, paired with about 3 different modest samples of wine intended to complement that dish best. Ticket orders will be securely processed online through our ticketing vendor ShowClix. You will select a starting winery and this is where you will check-in any time during the event itself and receive your physical tickets. You will then be sent an email confirmation immediately after you’ve completed the transaction. Each starting winery is given a limited quantity of tickets. Because of this, it is important that groups of attendees purchase their tickets on one order, to guarantee that all attendees will have the exact same starting winery. Lastly, tickets can only be picked up by the person who purchased them. You must start at your chosen starting winery. As the purchaser, you will present your state-issued photo ID (driver’s license) get checked in, and winery staff will have your actual tickets prepared and ready to hand you. Participating wineries will require that you have your actual cardstock ticket before you can begin enjoying this event. Printouts of the confirmation email from ShowClix do not qualify as tickets.
Important, Proof of I.D.: Please bring proof that you are 21 years of age or older. Each winery is individually responsible for checking the age of customers, to make sure they are at least 21 years old, so it is possible that you may be proofed at more than one winery.
Important group size policies: Groups of 19 or fewer people can attend the event together without having to make appointments at the wineries. However groups of 20 and up to 40 people will be accepted only if routed by the Trail office and only a few large groups are permitted to attend this event. All large groups must be booked 28 days prior to the event weekend. Few large groups are permitted and we reserve the right to limit the number of large groups and motor coaches purchasing tickets to our events to four (4). One passport per person, limited quantities are available, and all passport products are non-refundable. Our passports are not intended for large groups of 8 or more people. A passport is a simple document that for a set price enables an individual to enjoy a free, standard flight of wines at each of the participating wineries listed in the booklet one time each. Normal tasting fees at the wineries ranges from $2-$5 per winery and a standard flight of wine samples. Passports are an especially great value for regional residents that can readily visit our Trail more than once per season, enabling them to explore all of the many participating wineries across multiple weeks. One-time visitors to the region that plan on visiting at least 12-15 wineries will likely also find this product to be a good value. If your plan is to visit fewer than 10 wineries, then it is probably wise to not purchase the passport, and instead pay the incremental tasting fees that are common to most wineries in the region.
Passports are not valid for groups of 8 or more people.
Delivery time may take up to 3 weeks, therefore if you plan on visiting the Trail in the next 3 weeks, we strongly recommend you purchase your passports at a participating winery upon your arrival.
