Dundee, New York ? Glenora Wine Cellars is pleased to announce the release of two new wines, adding a new dimension to their expansive wine portfolio; Pinot Noir Rosé and Sangiovese.
The 2007 Pinot Noir Rosé is crisp, clean and dry. The Pinot Noir Rosé was produced from Pinot Noir grapes harvested from Glenora Farms which is located adjacent to the winery. The wine offers elegant flavors reminiscent of strawberries that are prominent in this strikingly easy to drink wine. The wine is smooth and simply the perfect wine to enhance any summer picnic or to sip on its own.
The 2007 Sangiovese is a pleasant, dry red wine with nuances of cherries and plums. This wine is full bodied, with elegant, supple tannins.
Winemaker, Steve DiFrancesco, is very proud of both of these products, noting that he always enjoys the opportunity to craft new wines that he knows will be very well received by wine enthusiasts.
The Pinot Noir Rosé and Sangiovese are both available to sample in Glenora?s Retail Shop, which is open daily 9 AM ? 8 PM Memorial Day to Labor Day Weekend. For more information visit www.glenora.com or contact the winery at 607.243.5511.
