Sponsored by Barilla, this event was always quite popular and was only temporarily removed from our event roster because of the then very popular Atkins Diet plan, that had heaps of people removing pasta from their diet. Barilla America, Inc., the U.S.-based division of the Barilla Group, Italy’s largest food producer, was launched in 1996.  Just three years later, Barilla became the No. 1 brand of pasta in the United States (and today produces the fastest-growing pasta and sauce brands in their categories).  To achieve this milestone in such a short time is a testament to Barilla’s history of 130 years of excellence in food production, brand-building, product quality, and global consistency. We'll email when updates are available so be sure to sign up to receive our eblasts.

Testimonials
Of course we, the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, believes this is a terrific event... But don't take just our word for it! Below are some testimonials from past attendees of this annual event:

"One of our favorite events is  Deck the halls. Our favorite memory was at Glenora when a group of young Mrs. Clauses got out of there limo and started dancing. They even got the driver involved. We also enjoyed the Pasta and Wine weekend. Lots of food and great wine and met many new friends.
Jerry"

"My wife, Dani and I participated in our first Seneca Lake Wine Trail event this past January, Pasta & Wine.  We were joined by friends Kevin and Carolyn from Rochester.  I left work early Friday so we could hit the trail by 1:00 p.m.  We enjoyed the fact that the wineries weren't crowded, and visited 11 wineries that afternoon.  We thought the pasta dishes were awesome, and gladly collected recipes from each winery.  Dani has actually prepared a couple of them since then, and they are delicious. We enjoyed the fact that most of the wineries invited us to taste wines in addition to the designated pairings with the pasta.  This led to our purchasing about a case and a half of wine during our afternoon adventure.  One of our unique memories from this event was getting stuck in the snow at one of the wineries.  It was nothing 3 people pushing and one driving couldn't handle, but makes a great topic of conversation.

Thank you for organizing such a wonderful event!

Dani and Todd"
