2008 Bargain Bash
Once again a majority of our member wineries (29 in 2008) are putting much of their 2007 inventory on sale! This is a great excuse to not only visit the Wine Trail during the best time of year- the off season- but also to find some terrific bargains, with participating wineries offering deep discounts on both wines and retail merchandise alike! Here are just a few of the bargains that will be available during the event, running January 12-21:
Amberg Wine Cellars: Red Baron on sale for only $5/bottle.
Belhurst Winery: Select wall prints are 50% off and select clothing 50% - 75% off.
Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards: Cream Sherry, a winter warm up gift for all of Hazlitt's loyal customers. This double-gold medal, fortified wine is now offered at just $7.69/bottle.
Villa Bellangelo: Anyone visiting their winery during Bargain Bash will receive a special Bargain Blast Balloon containing a surprise discount coupon. Pop the balloon to reveal the bargain inside, with discounts ranging from 10% - 50% off and special giveaways.

2008 Chocolate and Wine Weekend
Why stop at merely buying a box of chocolates for a loved one, when instead you can share a romantic weekend together enjoying an array of chocolate paired perfectly with fine regional wines!  The Seneca Lake Wine Trail is now selling tickets to its consistently popular Chocolate and Wine Weekend, taking place at 35 member wineries on Seneca Lake Saturday and Sunday, February 9 and 10, 2008. Enjoy a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake. Pick up your gift item at your assigned starting winery then start sampling chocolates, or foods prepared with chocolate, creatively matched with appropriate wines.

Everybody seemingly craves packages these days! One stop shopping, where event tickets, accommodations and transportation can be purchased in one elegant package. Golden Nose Award: A Finger Lakes Wine Experience
The Finger Lakes Region has long been a producer of award-winning wines. Both domestically and overseas, dozens of wineries win prestigious awards every single year. However it had been over twenty years since a competition had been held specifically between Finger Lakes wineries only. But rather than bringing in a batch of professional tasters to judge which wines are best, we are opting to invite you, the consumers, to judge. After all, what percentage of bottles of wine are sold to wine professionals? Very few. At the end of the day, it is your senses, your palates, and your noses that our wine must please. Thus the Golden Nose Award has been created. With over 150 of our region's newest wines, four fantastic meals, and the unique opportunity to learn from some of the area's best winemakers, this is one fabulous event you do not want to miss.

MySpace Contest
For those of you that are active members of MySpace, please become our Friend! We have had a MySpace account for some time, but haven't really done much with it. Now we're starting to finally post up information on the account, and are committed to keeping it updated and try to leverage it as a way to reach out to more people.
